We celebrated Clarissa's birthday this week. She always chooses a new restaurant for us to try, always with a vegetarian leaning. This year was no exception. As an appetizer, they brought us this... vegetable sculpture with hummus.
I contend the more vertical and sculptural the food, the less likely I am to enjoy it.
Anyway, Muse is trying very hard, but I didn't love it. It smelled pungently like flowery air freshener (the worst), the food is locally sourced and leans vegan/vegetarian, but the decor is Parisian nighclub/neon (weird), and I left hungry.
I did enjoy my dish though — gnocci. If only there'd been twice as much of it.
